The project “Padel Overcoming Team”, born from the alliance between Monte-Carlo International Sports and Arena Entrena Padel, was presented this afternoon in Pamplona (Spain).
Fabrice Pastor, CEO of Monte-Carlo International Sports, and José Luis Jiménez, founder and captain of Arena Entrena Padel, presented the “Padel Overcoming Team” in Pamplona in the presence of Navarrese entrepreneurs and the media.
This alliance is the result of the union of two entrepreneurs passionate about this sport, “madmen of the padel”. This new project was born with a powerful masculine and feminine team to compete for the Spanish Championship and with the idea to connect the world of padel with the company.
Fabrice Pastor explained to the over two hundred Navarrese entrepreneurs present at the Arena Entrena Padel that “we join forces to help the sport, we seek to bring the padel closer to the companies”.
José Luis Jiménez expressed that “Padel Overcoming Team” is what all companies want: improvment and team to continue growing. “Arena Entrena Padel won the last two men’s championships in Spain and now we have a women’s team, which ranking is even higher than men, and we will try to compete and win if possible.”
The Monegasque entrepreneur recalled the importance of connecting the padel to the companies, as Monte-Carlo International Sports did with Cartier. “It is a pride that Cartier has designed and manufactured the Monte-Carlo Padel Master trophy. There are only two tournaments in the world with a Cartier trophy, one is the one that delivers the Queen of England with the Cartier’s Queen Cup trophy of Polo and another one is ours. It is important that big companies are linked to the padel world, a sport we love. ”
Jiménez explained that the Arena Entrena Paddel was born to be a reference facilities in the padel world: “We are proud to be able to present this new project here, in our club and in Navarra. Next February we will come with the players that are part of these two teams, the masculine and the feminine. ”
In addition to businessmen and media, the new president of the Spanish Federation of Padel, Alfredo Garbisu, and the president of the Navarre Federation of Padel, Juan Pablo Pereyra, were present at the event.
During the event, the guests were able to get to know a little more about this sport thanks to a video with Fernando Belasteguin explaining the magic of this sport. Belasteguin, fifteen consecutive years number 1 in the world, is one of the members of the Padel Overcoming Team.
The only player present at the event was the french-argentine Gaby Reca, who will join next year this team. Reca was in charge of displaying the equipment that will wear the players, designed by the renowned firm Bullpadel.
After the presentation the guests enjoyed a cocktail served by the prestigious chef from San Sebastian, Alex Múgica.
