The Monegasque Fabrice Pastor and the Spanish Andoni Bardasco were proclaimed champions of the Padel Open, approved by the French Tennis Federation (FFT) on the tracks of the Tennis Padel Soleil club, while the victory in the female category corresponded to the number 1 of the French ranking, Laura Clergue and Audrey Casanova.
In the modern facilities of this club of Beausoleil was carried out during all the week this Open tournament, sponsored by the prestigious brand Bullpadel, that counted on the participation of several French and Monegasque players.
They could not have a better premiere as a couple: Pastor and Bardasco conquered this tournament after winning in the final to Jeremy Ritz and Maxime Moreau by 6/2, 3/6 and 6/2.
They had previously beaten Fouquet-Weiler in the quarter-finals 6/3 and 6/1 and Laurent Bensadoun and Sebastien Corbelli by 6/4 and 7/5 in a very close semifinal.
It was not easy for French No. 1, Laura Clergue and Audrey Casanova in the final against Alexandrine Godard and Géraldine Sorel. After falling by 6/4 in the first set, they managed to win the second in the tie break and when they were 2-0 ahead in the third one, they were benefited by the injury of one of their rivals.
There was a great atmosphere at the Tennis Padel Soleil club during the weekend. It is certainly becoming a reference club of the French padel.
