MONTE-CARLO INTERNATIONAL SPORTS SPONSORS THE TENNIS PADEL CLUB SOLEIL TEAM AT STOCKHOLM

For the first time, a delegation of Padel Tennis Club Soleil, sponsored by the Monte Carlo International Sports, participates in a tournament in Stockholm on the weekend of 9/10 April. Thus, players Gaby Reca, 18 ranking World Padel Tour (WPT); Franco Stupaczuk, 46 WPT ranking; Fabrice Pastor, CEO of Monte-Carlo International Sports and 135 ranking of the WPT; Laurent Bensadoun 158 ranking of the WPT; the Swedish tennis player, Thomas Johansson, who won the Australian Open in 2002 and 257 ranking of the WPT; Dave Thomas, 396 WPT ranking; and young Delfina Brea -nº5 female Argentinian ranking- and Laura Clergue -nº1 female French ranking-, defend the Monegasque flag. Nito Brea, sports Director at Monte-Carlo International Sports and team coach, accompanies them.

The tournament takes place at Stockholm’s Padel Club, which was founded by tennis player Jonas Bjorkman. Each team consists of 6 men and 2 women, who meet on Saturday and Sunday in 6 men’s doubles matches and two women’s doubles matches.

Through the efforts of the Monte-Carlo International Sports, organizer of the most glamorous stage of the world championship World Padel Tour (WPT), the padel opens doors in different countries of Europe and the world. The company just organized the Fabrice Pastor Cup in Argentina, Brazil and Chile and organizes the women’s circuit in Argentina with much success. In addition, the company sponsors several professional players: Gaby Reca, 17 WPT ranking; Juan Lebrón, 23 WPT ranking; Franco Stupaczuk, 37 WPT ranking; Andres Britos, 44 WPT ranking; Martin di Nenno, 47 WPT ranking; and players Catalina Tenorio 9 WPT women’s rankings; Victoria Iglesias, 9 WPT women’s rankings; Silvana Campus, No. 1 female Argentinian ranking and Delfina Brea, nº5 female Argentinian ranking.

As part of its continued commitment to the promotion and development of the padel, Monte-Carlo International Sports has partnered in December 2015 with the Tennis Club Soleil, ran by Christian Collange, for the renovation and construction of new padel courts, which will host next September the first tests of the women’s tournament for the second edition of the Monte-Carlo Padel Master.
